World’s largest asteroid impact site could be in Australia

A rogue asteroid or comet may have been responsible for the largest impact site yet discovered in Warburton in central Australia … drilling for geothermal energy in 2009 in the oil and gas rich Cooper Basin, which overlies the Warburton Basin.
